Wearables

The Wearables project is a custom-built, sensor-equipped glove designed to capture hand motions and translate them into real-time animations. Using flex sensors, conductive thread, and an Arduino Lilypad, we were able to transmit finger movement data directly into Blender, allowing a digital human hand to mimic the wearer’s gestures. This project was the team’s first to integrate wearable electronics with live 3D animation, providing a hands-on exploration of motion capture technology and real-time visualization.
